Lexus customers benefit from VAT reduction
Motorists considering a Lexus will benefit immediately from the recently announced new VAT rate of 15 per cent with the 2.5 per cent reduction effective as soon as the new rate is live on 1st December 2008.
The 2.5 per cent reduction has been applied across the range with the delivery and number plate charge on new vehicles also incorporated in the calculations for the new on-the-road vehicle prices.
The Lexus range now starts from £22,015 for the new IS 220d SE and the Lexus hybrid range starts from £35,505 – a reduction of £768 – for the RX 400h.
It also means the newly launched enhanced IS range, which has already offered improved pricing combined with a higher specification, is even more value for money.
